Richard Kimble always finds an odd job so he can afford that next hamburger at the greasy spoon

The Toil of Many Jobs

``Parking attendant. A job for food and shelter. A place to rest. Another temporary haven for a man on the run. Richard Kimble, known in this place and to these people as Bill Garrison.''

A fugitive must find whatever work he can, whether it's a valet job at a country club, pumping gas on a deserted country road, driving a rig over mountainous passes, or even (in
COME WATCH ME DIE) acting as an agent of the law! Luckily, in the America of the 1960s, anyone can work if they want to, even if they have no papers and nobody has ever seen them before. Thanks to odd jobs like the ones listed below, Richard Kimble is rarely seen to be hard up for cash, although he does have to worry about money in such episodes as ANGELS TRAVEL ON LONELY ROADS, THE 2130 and LANDSCAPE WITH RUNNING FIGURES.

Gas-station attendant SEE HOLLYWOOD AND DIE
Bartender FEAR IN A DESERT CITY
